What does this do to or environment?

Despite helping us by keeping us fresh for the entire day, deodorants fail to help the environment, rather destroy it. Aerosol deodorants contain gas propellants that contribute to air pollution and climate change. They also contain Triclosan, an antibacterial chemical that causes the destruction of aquatic life and severely damages aquatic ecosystems.

What is the Alternative?

  •  Baking soda or cornstarch ; These typical kitchen ingredients are used for more than just baking or cooking. They also make great natural hygiene products. Mix 1/8 teaspoon with a little water and then rub it.

  • When life gives you lemons … use it as deodorant? ; You may be surprised to know that applying lemon juice is a simple way to eliminate odor. Lemon juice is full of citric acid, which naturally gets rid of odor-causing bacteria.

  • Apple cider vinegar, coconut oil are other common products.
